I am the Founder and Investment Advisor Representative at R. Cooper & Associates, where I specialize in investment management, tax planning strategies, financial planning, and banking support. With over seven years of experience in the financial services industry, I began my career at New York Life before deciding to go independent with an IMO. I hold a FL-215 license, obtained in 2018, and a Series 65 Investment Advisor certification, acquired in 2023.
My journey in finance is driven by a passion for constant learning and the thrill of tackling challenges that push me to innovate. The desire to create meaningful change and empower others fuels my daily energy. I am excited by the unique opportunity to blend creativity with technology to solve real problems, and watching our ideas evolve into solutions that make a tangible impact on people’s lives is truly inspiring. The greatest value I provide to my clients is helping them gain clarity and confidence in where they are and where they are going. What I love most about this career is when my clients call me excited about their newfound understanding, eager to share how they plan to take control of their financial lives.
Before founding R. Cooper & Associates, my entrepreneurial spirit led me to launch my first business, "Bagz Galore," in Atlanta, followed by "Suso Grill," a catering company that achieved remarkable success. However, financial challenges prompted me to dissolve the business and pursue a deeper understanding of finance.
Currently, I reside in Jacksonville, Florida, where I am actively involved in the community as part of the Jacksonville Urban League Young Professionals and a member of the River Club Young Executives. Outside the office, I enjoy playing sports like basketball and soccer, as well as traveling to explore new sights and experiences.
